It's been a while since I've linked up with Neely for Sunday Social, but this week is the perfect opportunity to participate because it's all about reintroducing yourself to your blog followers. Since I've had some new followers recently, I thought this would be the perfect way to let them get to know me a little better!
1. What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?
My blog is Chasing Birdies, and the name comes from my love of golf. You can check out my page for new followers for the full explanation. I began blogging in May 2011, which was the end of my sophomore year of high school (I'm now a senior).
2. Why do you blog?
I blog for a number of reasons, but the main reason is simply that I love it. I love sharing my life and my interests online and meeting others who share those interests. I've met so many wonderful people through blogging! The heart-warming comments and emails from other bloggers every day is the reason I continue doing it.
3. What is the first blog you ever followed?
If I remember correctly, the first two blogs I ever followed were Glossary and Dear Darling. Glossary was one of the Blogs of Note on the google page, and I found Dear Darling in her follower list. I think. Keep in mind this was nearly two years ago!
4. What is your favorite post that you wrote in 2012?
I think my favorite post would have to be Blogging in Secrecy. It received a huge response from my followers, and yes, I did end up telling my family and a few of my friends about my blog after that!
5. What are your blogging goals for 2013?
This is the year that I graduate from high school and go off to college in August, so my biggest goal is to blog consistently and keep up with it. I know I'm going to have so many things to write about this year, and I don't want it to get left behind in my busy life.
6. What are your top 3 favorite blogs to follow? (I'm doing ten instead of three because I couldn't narrow it down!)

ReplyDeleteI just read your "Blogging In Secrecy" post. I can relate! There are only 2 people that know I have it which are my husband & my best friend. I think it's cool that you decided to tell people though.

2013 sounds like an exciting year for you! I remember the year I graduated like it was yesterday (it was two summers ago!). It's such a good time and a crazy experience, but I'm so excited for you!
